Letter from Mission President

Letter from Mission President

Hey Dude it good to hear from you again.

The mission is going really well. The comp and I get along great. I have had to change a few things because we work a little different, but it’s not a big deal. We do lots of tracting, which is not always the most fun but I'm doing okay with it. I’m actually starting to not mind it as much.

This last Sunday, we had a great one. AndrĂ© and Cecilia, our Hungarian German speakers, came to church together. It was so nice. We also had a less active family came too. This less active family is about to be reactivated soon. I really love them to death. Tonight I am going to be challenging a new less active member to retake the lessons from us, which I’m a bit nervous for because he used to be in the first Ireland District Presidency. So, he knows everything. He just lost his testimony over a few situations that happened here. But, our Mission President has told us to work with him because he feels inspired to.

Tell Amy not to eat any banana's when to goes to places with mosquito’s cuz they like them. I learned that on the Animal Planet. It’s good to hear your doing so well in Texas. It will be fun to chill with you once I get home. Texas may be too hot for me after living here for so long. Right now I am freezing cold because the weather has gotten worse with lots of rain and icy winds.

Well buddy, I love you gots to email the mum.

Take care,
Brady

Hey ya family. And my duggy mummy

Well mom I can tell you are not doing so well because the letter is probably the shortest one you sent other than the one while you where on your cruise. You’re not out in the sun right now are you? That’s too bad to hear you’re sick I will pray for you to get better. I was sick early this week I’m doing better now but it was not very nice. I had flu like symptoms.

Well to answer your questions the cast came off yesterday. It was so long I was in the hospital at 9:00 and I finally left at 12:00 it took forever. The reason it takes so long is cuz of the national health care. So tell Obama to ram it I don't want national health care in the states we can just have insurance. But the wrist is good it feels all funny cuz it’s light and weak but good. They have given me some physical therapy junk to do to help out the stiffness. Its one thing that's nice here I didn't get at home. I have one last appointment at the first of December.

Andrea and Cicilia are doing great we see them on Thursdays now. This Thursday we are taking President Creer with us cuz he speaks German and it would be fun to see him work. They are doing really good, they read the whole time we were not able to see them and they still want to be baptized they have a solid testimony. They should be able to be baptized in January. Their new jobs don't let them have as many Sundays off as we thought just once a month possibly two. I’m still not happy about that but it’s an improvement.

My comp is Elder Mitchell (Mitch) Robert Dabling. He is from Syracuse Utah. He is a good guy who really works hard. Any and every spare moment he has he uses to go tracting or something. Since our area is no good for o.y.m.ing (street contacting) we tract a lot. We may have found a cool guy named Daniel who we are going to teach Friday. He said he was open to hearing more and that he does not know what he believes.

On Sunday I had my first lesson of dodgy doctrine ever. That was weird. The guy teaching was unprepared, read only a little of the lesson and got up and spoke; the whole class put their input into a lesson not at all what it was supposed to be and it was not doctrine either. We as missionaries did our best to bring it back but they just love false doctrine to talk about.

Well I will shop around and look for some water proof shoes. The last time I looked at the Echoes it’s was around 140 -190 Eros to buy them I knew you would not be keen on buying shoes for me to send out. But I will do some more shopping around.

Well much loves hugs and kisses on the check cuz sick

Hello Family

Well, thanks for the good email. I really have enjoyed reading it. I'm glad you are keeping me up to date with Cody and his life. I have really missed him a lot, and I, of coarse, miss you Mom and Dad. I really wanted to see his senior year, it's always the best.

I hate the swimming walls at the Saint George pool, they are the worst. I remember a few of the swimmers doing the same thing as Cody and hurting themselves pretty bad. I think Erin Sickels did the same thing as Cody, and it took her a few weeks till she could walk normal. When I was there, I would miss the walls and have to go back. It always slowed me down.

So the weather here has gotten way cold and I hate it! It's fine while your walking, but if you are waiting for the bus (which i do all a lot) its freezing. So, I have a new scarf and coat to keep me warm. My coat I came out with went missing in Bangor. I think I may have told you that, and the one I used last year was not warm enough. All my new stuff I got was cheap and am very happy for it. I don't know if Amy told you, but I need new shoes. They are not water proof. I guess when I got them re-soled, I waited too long to re-sole them and now they leak water. So, maybe next package...if you could.

Well, everyone is doing well. Jonathan will be ordained to the office of a Preist this week coming, and he will also be getting a calling. I will be visiting Andre and Cicilia tomorrow, so I'm happy for that. Our moves call was yesterday. I'm staying in the area, and will be serving with my District Leader. He is moving here and Elder Johnson, the one I trained, will move into his place where he will be training a new missionary. Its going to be cool to see my trainee train, and I will get to go on exchanges with them both.

Well, I can't think of anything else really exciting to say, but I'm still doing well and rocking up the mission. The area is on fire and leading the zone.

I love you all, and time is flying.

Much Love! Hugs and Kisses
Brady

What up Dude

Well, we just got moves call again last night. I will be staying here in Firhouse. Elder Johnson is getting moved to an area called Dundalk. He is a new district leader and has a car. He is very excited for his moves. I on the other hand don't have the greatest of moves. I stay, which I'm excited for, but I am now the district leader's companion. My comp's name is Elder Dabling...who is very robotic. I am praying he and I will be able to do well and get along, but it maybe my first difficult companion I have had.

Dude, if you would have came up to Ireland I would have had you and Amy teach lessons with me. Then you could have been my balanced effort. We are not able to take woman with us, but if you would have been there it would have been allowed. It would have been so cool. Then you could spend loads of time with me. Nuts!

The other two elders of my group are now the APs, and I got made jr companion, basically. Its a bit disheartening to be honest, but I'm going to do my best to not let him think I care. Also, I wont let Dabling try to push me around. Its my area and I have been here the longest, so, I know what's best.

Well bro, I love ya tons and will talk to you next week. I got's to write the mum

Loves,
Brady
