Well Hello How is everyone?
I'm doing good here in rainy country. Like I said it's wet here all the time and it's always the times we forget to bring umbrellas. So far I have gone through four umbrellas because of how strong the wind is it just destroys umbrellas. But heck that's the weather here.
Well a lot of people have been asking me about my investigators and things in the letters I have been getting so here is the scoop. We have a few investigators but we really have only three solid ones. The other ones just like us, so they are more like friends they don't really want to make the changes. Our first one is Mary Booth; she is an old lady who loves our church because we are so friendly and nice. She is a member of some other religion and has a hard time changing over because if she is baptized her minister wont bury her. Our next one only happened last week and is a way cool story. Her name is Elizabeth she is 38 and we had been fasting and praying for someone to listen and an area to tract. We get the feeling to go to Sinclair Avenue and she lets us in. Once inside we find out its her daughters 10th birthday party so we go into a different room. She tells us about her and how her husband had died 3 year earlier. We teach her about the plan of salvation. She loved it and totally agreed with it. She said, "It almost sounded familiar." I kid you not, that lesson was the most perfect lesson ever taught. Nothing went wrong, the spirit was so strong. She felt the spirit and so did we. Once we left we were so happy that we started to walk off, once we got 2 blocks down the road we realized we forgot to get her address for our return appointment so we ran back wrote it down and went home because it was 9:00. Our next one is a guy named Paul Morris. His wife and kids are members and he has been investigating the church for like 8 or more years. He is a way nice cool guy we think he is progressing, he has been to church several times with us, his family and kids love us. So does Sister Morris. We will see what happens.
So as you can see this week has been awesome I have some pictures I'm sending to you. Hopefully today but once again they have done stupid stuff to our pday and so I don't have much time to write letters and things. Also today is the 11th of July which is the beginning of the 12th, which is a big crazy holiday where everyone burns these huge piles of wood and gets drunk. And every once in awhile it gets out of hand and bad stuff happens. So of course we have to stay inside. And also it's a protestant holiday so with us being a different faith it's a bad idea to be out anyways.
Well I have been having a lot of fun here and things have been really good. I'm no longer considered the young guy, and this next move we will be having a ton of new missionaries come in, so I will become old fast-its way cool. And like you said and heard, and from what I hear, I'm doing really well for a new missionary. People stop me, I talk to them, I lead lessons and teach gospel principles class and I know how to get around my area really well. On exchanges I take people around my area and to appointments. I like it because on exchanges in my own area I become the senior companion, so I'm in charge I can't wait to become a permanent senior. Anyways life is awesome even if I'm wet all the time.
I love you guys
