Hello Family.
Well life has been really good, the work is going well. We have been doing loads of tracting because Elder Aitken likes to tract; which is not my favorite to be honest. Elder Headington wore me out on it because he tracked too much. With Elder Aitken it's a lot more fun because he feels no need to argue with people like Headington did. This week we have been contacting a lot of former investigators trying to see if they would be interested in seeing us again. This week we have also found one new investigator named Martina Burke. Martina is married and has 3 little boys, which is the most ideal family to find. We found her tracting and she let us in the home. We taught her a first lesson and she said we could come back Monday, but on Monday she was not there. We hope she just forgot and did not mean to do it on purpose.
Elder and Sister Mulholland, the senior couple here, have decided to work with us better, which has made us very pleased. They have given us a few less actives to work with. Less actives are my favorite to work with, so this makes me happy. I love the inactive because I have had success reactivating someone in each area I have been in. One of the less active we are working with right now is a 17 year old boy. This one I can tell will be tough, but we can try to get him to shoot for a mission which will help.
Well I guess I should talk about Elder Aitken; to say his name it rhymes with bacon, so just take the b off of bacon. He is from Ogden, Utah and is 19. I am his second comp and we have been getting along really well. Most of the branch thinks we look a lot alike; as if he could be my older brother, I look like I’m 14 and he looks about 24 because he is a hairy monster. He has Austin Powers hairy chest, blond hair and blue eyes. His first area in the mission was Mount Joy which is one of the easiest areas in the mission, but has an apostate ward. So Tralee has been a bit of a shock to him. But it’s great we both love to read books, talk about movies and books, so we have been having some good times.
Well Dr Jerame, wow that’s crazy- a Doctor, he can help me in school again! Yes! Well I’m glad to hear everything is going well out there. I’m glad to hear Julie liked New York, that’s really fun. I was really hoping to go out there with Jer and Ames to visit again, but you make it sound like they are going to move so I guess that won’t happen, oh well. Here in Ireland it’s not that uncommon to have 6 missionaries in a ward but we never have 8, that’s too many for any ward or branch here. We had this past Sunday an old missionary and his wife come visit the branch. His wife is a Mormon singer, a pretty famous one from Utah. She sang for us and so did Elder Mac, but I wish he would have stopped because his voice was just noise that got in the way of his wife’s voice.
Anyway I have run out of things to say; I love you tons, hope you can get those pics back.
Much loves hugs and kisses
