Hello

So this has also been a pretty eventful week for me. I'm glad to hear nothing is too crazy for you and that life has continued on as normal. No, Tanya or Paul’s wife did not poison us, only Sheppard and his terrible cooking made us sick. My release date is not April 9th, that was my estimation date. The real one is April 16th, exactly one month after my birth date and two days after Jerame's birthday. This is really cool cuz he came home on my birthday and now it’s his turn for me to come home on his. Maybe I can get a barf bag crown for him like he did for me on my birthday.

So the rest of Paul’s story, his funeral was Friday and I got to go to it. It was held in a Catholic Church, because most of his family is Catholic. That was very interesting to see the way they do things from the Good News Bible. They only change a few words, but the rest of the service was word for word from the Bible. During the service you kneel, stand, and sit a lot. This type of service makes it really difficult to fall asleep. They also have sayings which you are supposed to repeat back to them. So, after the whole mass (sacrament meeting) they then do the funeral portion. The priest does some voodoo hoodoo with holy water and incense over his casket. Then the priest dedicates the grave doing more voodoo hoodoo, and the rosary prayers (the lords payer, and hail marys) then it all over. Noel, Paul’s brother, then rededicated his grave the way our church does it, and then I got to go eat at a pub dressed as a missionary, that was weird, but the food was really good. Tanya has not been sentenced yet, as far as I know, but will be soon.

The weather has been changing here and getting colder and rainier. After this I'm going to the zoo, but it looks like it might rain which will be a real big bummer. I did not think about bringing an umbrella, but that is life in Ireland.

Andre and Cecilia are doing very well. We had a lesson with them last night, and Cecilia has found a new job but still works on Sunday for this next month. Andre is still looking. We will have to move the baptism back for awhile. I hope they figure out their job situation real soon, but their baptism won’t be this next week because neither one of them have been to the church. That’s their only hold.

On Saturday I was playing soccer and fell down really hard on my left wrist. It swelled up and hurt in all the same spots as before. I waited to see what was going to happen with it. Finely yesterday I thought we better take a look at it. They x-rayed it and have decided it’s not broken, but they want to be sure. So, on Monday they will be re x-raying it again. I hope it’s not cuz I don’t really want a cast and if it bad enough, surgery. If I need surgery they would have to send me home early and the probability of not coming back out, because at that point they say you’ve served your time. So right at the moment they gave me a write brace that I'm supposed to wear any time I'm doing anything laborious…so basically service.

Well I love you all I have a package to send home soon so be on the lookout for it.

Much love,
Brady
