To see some of Elder Hafen's pictures, we have created slideshows at the bottom of his blog. I wish we had more, but he doesn't take very many pictures of himself. So, we hope you enjoy them, and thank you for supporting him. Enjoy :)

Letter from Mission President

Letter from Mission President

October 21, 2009 - Letter

Hey family

It has been another great week I really look forward to this Saturday; Jonathan Manning will be getting baptized. He is so good, Elder Johnson will be baptizing him and I will be giving him the Holy Ghost, which is really good cuz my cast is not water proof, so no getting it wet. I still have not gone for another appointment to get the cast checked, I have been too busy. It’s hard being the best missionaries in the zone, because your racing from one appointment to the next baptizing people along the way. Ha-ha just kidding. But Johnson and I have reached our goal; we are leading our zone in everything basically. President told us yesterday in interviews that we were the third best companionship last week. We are doing awesome. President wanted to know if having a cast would slow down my work, I told him "no" but maybe it takes some time away just cuz of hospital appointments.

André and Cicilia are not getting baptized this week, but hopefully by the end of moves; we will see. It might get moved back to the following moves.

Amy and I had a great visit. Call her up and ask her cuz she will give you a much better description of what went on then I can over an email, it was very good though- I loved it! I got to know her much better; I told Jer a bit about it in my email to him so you have permission to read that one mom.

We have been teaching a lot of less active lessons to boost our numbers, and to help out the less active members, of course numbers mean nothing it’s the people who count. It has been great we have some really good appointments lined up for tonight and the rest of the week.

I’m so sorry this is so short but I have to go

I love all so much and miss you

Hugs and kisses

Brady

Hello Brady's fam!
This is Whitney (Russell Duncan's girlfriend) and I just wanted to tell you I saw Brady at church today. He's doing very well indeed!!! You'd be super proud (as I'm sure you are). He's a great missionary and it was fun to catch up on things from home. I'm traveling Europe at the moment and just happened to stop in today to his ward. Hope you enjoy your Sunday.

Also, are you guys related to a missionary couple serving in the Manchester Stake? We stayed there for a week and we know two women who are in that stake. :)
